Sistahs Aging with Grace & Elegance is fiscally-sponsored by our strategic partner and sister organization, California Black Women’s Health Project. Established in 1994 as an affiliate of the Black Women’s Health Imperative (formally the National Black Women’s Health Project), California Black Women’s Health Project (CABWHP) was the first statewide 501(c)(3) non-profit organization solely dedicated to improving the physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being of California’s Black women and girls. The organization’s theory of change is driven by Five Guiding Values:

Through advocacy, education, policy, and outreach, California Black Women’s Health Project believes that a healthier future is possible when women are empowered to make choices in an environment where equal access and health justice are community priorities.
