Bay Area Sistahs Celebrating The Aging Journey

April 22, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

African American women of various ages

Calling all sisters in their Fabulous 40’s, Phenomenal 50’s, Sensuous 60’s, Sensational 70’s, Elegant 80’s and Beyond…Sistahs Aging With Grace & Elegance (SAGE)  and the California Black Women’s Health Project are back in the Oakland/Bay Area to reconnect and celebrate YOU!!!!

Please join us for a day of empowerment, sisterhood, and self-care as we come together to focus on strategies for living the most healthy, satisfying, financially secure and active lives we can throughout our aging journeys. Whether you’re a retiree on the go (or looking forward to that day), a current or future caretaker for an adult parent or relative, a member of the sandwich generation, or thinking about your longer-term life planning, we invite you to nourish your mind, body & soul with a community of Sistahs Aging With Grace & Elegance (and to bring a friend or two with you).

This year, Celebrating The Aging Journey is graciously co-hosted by Merritt College under the leadership of Interim President Dr. Marie-Elaine Burns. Breakfast and lunch will be provided; and there is ample FREE parking on campus.

Early Bird Registration Ends on April 7, 2017!!!!!!
